MS SQL Server 2012 R2 SP4

Hi All,

MS SQL 2012 R2 SP3 is out of support. We were having issues with DB Cluster which is 2012 R2 SP3 and Microsoft said it’s not supported version. We need to go for SP4 to have support.

I suppose it’s not just MS SQL version, Service Pack is also associated.

Can you correct me here?

    Your post is not very clear; there is no such version 2012 R2 of SQL Server available, only 2012; see https://sqlserverbuilds.blogspot.com/

    SP 4 is simple service pack, just install it on both cluster not. Download see link above.

    Sorry, Its typo error. My current version of SQL is SQL 2012 with SP3.

    Do I need to consider SP4 end of support as well just like SQL version EOS? Can you please share SQL 2012 - SP4 EOS date?
