For security reasons, Microsoft teams make a change to the default behavior in Microsoft 365 Apps for Windows (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Word) to now block VBA macros in files obtained from the internet.
There are several options available to you to allow VBA macros to run in files that you trust.
- Save files to a Trusted Location of Office.
- Designate a file server or network share as a Trusted site (Add the FQDN or IP address of the file share or network server to the list of Trusted Sites).
- Have users select the Unblock checkbox on the General tab of the Properties dialog for the file to make it a Trusted Document.
