Is this a bug in the hero card in Teams?

I found that in Teams unfurling function, if the image url is unavailable, after waiting for dozens of seconds, the thumbnail will change from the style below to the style above. Is this a bug?

This doesn't seem to be issue/bug with HeroCard. Its MS Teams client issue. Please try to clear cache, update MS Teams version and check if it helps

It looks useless. This phenomenon occurs in both web client and windows client. Chrome and edge browser included.

Could you please provide the image url or link you are using?

You can use any invalid image url like this one: https://1234.ttt.com

We are able to repro the issue. In Teams unfurling function, if the image url is unavailable, after few seconds, the thumbnail changes.

Tried to repro again and while using incorrect URL it shows as below:

Issue is no more reproable.
