I've tried to download both JDK 18 and 17. Upon opening the installation file and giving permission to make changes to my device, nothing happens. Opening the MSI file leads to a curious message saying that the download was interrupted. I have run the windows troubleshoot program, which indicates that there are no current problems with my device. Running the java uninstall program leads to the same thing as JDK 18 and 17; no response.
the following image is a what the MSI installer displays. I have also tried to disable my antivirus, to no avail. Please help.
