Hello,

We have an issue with 2 users where their Outlook will not connect. We are using a hybrid on prem exchange setup for O365. Outlook shows a status of disconnected and if you try to update the folder it responds with error 0x08004011d. Their OWA access works just fine. I have also setup other users on the same machine and they have no issues connecting to exchange. Below are things I have tried to resolve this issue:

Re-Create Outlook profile

Connect to exchange from internal and external networks

Different PC's

Repairing office install

Uninstalling and reinstalling Office

Exchange Server Management
Exchange Server Management
Exchange Server: A family of Microsoft client/server messaging and collaboration software.Management: The act or process of organizing, handling, directing or controlling something.

    Re-Create Outlook profile

Could you reconfigure Outlook profile successfully?

    • Could configure Outlook profile successfully but cannot connect to Exchange server when open Outlook.
    • Or cannot reconfigure Outlook profile.

Is this mailbox hosted on Exchange on-premises or Exchange online?

If this mailbox hosted on Exchange on-premises, I would suggest you try to migrate to another mailbox, then check whether could connect with Exchange server successfully.

If this mailbox hosted on Exchange online, check whether Microsoft 365 subscription is active first. Then try to remove Exchange online license from this mailbox, then re-assign to it later.
