AutoPilot Not Changing Hostname to Serial Number

I am testing AutoPilot and i noticed that the %Serial% Hostname setting doesn't seem to be working. (there are actually a couple of other things that are not working too. But i figured i would focus on this first (the other two things are, its not setting the user as a standard user, and its ignoring my bitlocker settings).

For some reason, the Hostname ends up being Desktop-Something, instead of the serial number of the device.

Am i doing something wrong. i have it scoped to an autopilot group that contains the device i am testing with (a lenovo laptop thats a pretty new model with an 11th gen intel CPU).

See screenshot below for my AutoPilot Config profile.

@jaybird283 , From your description, it seems the Autopilot profile is not applied. Here, we suggest to check if any policy conflict with Autopilot configured in our environment. If yes, remove them and see if it works.

I agree with @Crystal-MSFT . Autopilot doesn't like policies and apps resulting in reboots and failures. Do you have ESP enabled? If yes, then hit shift +f10 and skim through the event logs. I would normally start with device management logs to see if any policy is causing untimely reboot or not.
