Hey,

As part of our windows 10 LTSC configuration, we would like to disable all multi touch features such as pinch zoom and rotate, etc.. but enable the usual touch features such as click, drag and right click.

I've disabled EdgeUI so Touch Gestures are disabled but im still able to zoom and rotate. because when open any notepad or in any explorer drives am able to zoom it using two fingers.

I've tried to add the registry "MultiTouchEnabled" but seems to be not working on windows 10.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Wisp\MultiTouch]
"MultiTouchEnabled"=dword:00000000

Is there any way to do it?

    Hi,
    Per my searching, the registry key used to be working in windows 7 but failed in Windows 10.

    Moreover, the option of disable pinch zoom under additional mouse settings/device settings won't show up in all laptop or touchpad. Instead, Users shall check what kind of touchpad driver or application has been applied in their computers and modify in the specific Touchpad Setting Program.

    has anyone found a solution to this problem. Virtually everyone who has machines with touch screens in production needs to stop the Multi-touch pinch zoom

    As a small charity, we did not want to buy an expensive software tool, just to make our complex PowerPoint interactive touch driven displays work. What we are trying now is using LibreOffice Impress instead of PowerPoint, as this does not support pinch zoom. Then we use Group Policy Edit to turn off Edge Swipe, and Windows 11 controls to disable all other multi touch, and turn on Touch Visual Feedback. However scrolling text boxes are broken in Impress, and have been for a long time, so we have had to rework all of those, and having our stewards simply turn on a machine and have it start up Impress in slide show mode also seems broken at the moment.

    All we need from Microsoft is to make the same level of control available already on a built in touchpad, also available for an external touch enabled monitor.

    Thank.
