Are there any resources for Binary Delta Compression?

look at the URL above, it says that Binary Delta Compression is used.

Any algorithms or explanations for this approach?
Or is it possible to extract delta from a file downloaded with ODT?

My purpose is to update Office through self-built PMS instead of update function of Office.

Microsft365 adopts the click-to-run installation method, office will automatically match the resources that need to be updated when updating, and users cannot manually extract update patches.
