Azure Devops feed - username and password - 401 error

I have setup devops feed - for python twine/pip - with myself as owner.

if I try to run twine upload - and enter the credentials that I use to log in to azure portal - then i get a 401 Unauthorized error.

followed the instructions in the 'connect to feed' section on portal, keyring installed etc.

I am assuming that my 'identity' is preserved across azure services - so why might it be producing this error?

once this is sorted out - what I would really like to do is create a simple username and password - specifically for accessing the twine/pip artifact feed - nothing complicated - how to do that ?

as an aside - this is tagged with 'azure-stack' ... because it does not accept 'azure-devops' or 'azure' ..... who designed this ....

    Hi,

Azure DevOps is currently not supported in the Q&A forums, the supported products are listed over here https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/products (more to be added later on).

You can ask the experts in the dedicated Azure DevOps forum over here:
