Defender for Endpoint Tamper protection for linux?

Any idea if Defender for Endpoint will ever offer tamper protection on linux?

This article suggests it's only supported on windows today:

    You are correct, this feature is only available for the Windows, and it is because Windows architecture designed in a way to support these functionalities and things like PowerShell, Group Policy, Scripts are specific to Windows. However, you may share your feedback with Microsoft.
