Is there a way to block access to the Teams app store? Are we limited to blocking or allowing each app individually?

@jpcapone - We don’t have any policies to block access to App Store. Could you please let us know if there is any reason for wanting to block access to Teams App store?

Cam across this question when I was searching for a solution. Might have found something recently that might help:

Our company policy and internal security policies dictate that users are not allowed to add any apps that are not specifically approved and assigned to them by IT.

We do not want users to have the ability to access the Teams Store (or any other) and select anything that is available. We need to be able manage what apps are available in the store or block access to the store completely. With roughly 15K users we must be able to manage the as a group and not individually. Why does Microsoft insist on rolling out features without the ability to control, manage and block the use of those features? Everyone isn't the same, everyone doesn't want everything you produce. How soon can you fire everyone in your marketing dept?

Ok thanks for the clarification. We wanted to determine if this could be done so that the Teams users would have a more streamlined experience and not be confused by the enormous amount of apps available. We will use the existing application policies to achieve this, thanks.

Same issue here. I would like to limit the view on the apps a user can browse. Currently, there are more than 1800 apps available, most of them should not be visible to the users.
