When I install some programs in my computer, during the installation process a message saying there is a problem with this file (microsoft visual c++ x64 minimum runtime 14.23.27820) usually shows up and it doesn't let me finish installing the program. I tried to install the latest version for visual c++ x64 from: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170 and once I opened the .exe file to install this version it says that there is a .msi file missing that (again) doesn't let me finish installing it.
I want to know how to find the .msi file or how to solve this problem.

    Hi @Lucas Dalmagro ,

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.

Please try to download and run this troubleshooter. Select "Installing" option and wait for troubleshooter finishes detecting the programs and problems. After that find the specific version of VC minimum runtime, and wait for troubleshooter repairs it and fixes the problem.

BTW, you can also select "Uninstalling" to check if the specific VC minimum runtime package which mentioned in the error message was installed and remove it by using this troubleshooter.

    Best Regards,
    Tianyu
