Can't create a web app in Southeast Asia region

I have created many Azure web apps before.
When trying to create a new Azure web app in the Southeast Asia region, I get this error:

{"code":"InvalidTemplateDeployment","details":[{"code":"ValidationForResourceFailed","message":"Validation failed for a resource. Check 'Error.Details[0]' for more information.","details":[{"code":"SubscriptionIsOverQuotaForSku","message":"This region has quota of 0 instances for your subscription. Try selecting different region or SKU."}]}],"message":"The template deployment 'Microsoft.Web-WebApp-Portal-3ffc4642-90b9' is not valid according to the validation procedure. The tracking id is 'ac3c6690-09b1-458b-81c1-105e0536cfc3'. See inner errors for details."}

I don't have any resources in Southeast Asia. Why does it say "This region has quota of 0 instances for your subscription"? I tried a few different SKU's, but it makes no difference.

Nobody knows?

We partly chose to use Azure so that it would be easy to deploy our application to any region of the world. I'm extremely disappointed that this feature just doesn't work at all and nobody seems to know why.

When did you start seeing this error? I am checking internally with the engineering team to see if this is a known issue and will get back to you when I heard back from them.

Thank you, Grace, for checking. I encountered this issue on Thursday the 7th of July, on our first attempt to deploy our web app to Southeast Asia. The issue was still present on Friday 8th of July. I haven't checked after that.

I have tried to create any kind of App service plan, even Premium tier, no luck. At the moment at least I am not able to deploy any kind of App Service plan to Southeast Asia region. I assume there is a an issue on MS side, because Ive checked all the quotas we have there, and everything seems to be fine, but the validation is failing with Quota error, stating that the Quota limit for the App Service plan vCPU compute unit is set to 0 for this region. Dont have the issue in West Europe for example....

This is issue has been resolved now. You should be able to create an ASP in this region. Please let us know if you come across any additional issues.

Hi Grace,

Management decided that our application should be moved from East Asia to Southeast Asia, now that space is available.
Unfortunately, when I try to create a B1 app service plan in Southeast Asia, I still get the same error:

"This region has quota of 0 instances for your subscription. Try selecting different region or SKU."

What exactly has been resolved about this issue?
