Orchestrator 2022 new webapi, createjob and c#: anyone got it working?

Dear,

We're moving towards orchestrator 2022
We are using the web service to start runbooks from another application.
I'm trying to do the same now with the new webapi (in C#)

But always running on error "Invalid Job creation params"

Did anyone have more luck than me starting a runbook with multiple parameters?

I have the same question.

Here is the docs how to start runbook on previous versions of system center orchestrator(sco)

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/previous-versions/system-center/developer/hh921685(v=msdn.10) but this doesn't work any more. Error message is: "Invalid Job creation params"

// Create new job and assign runbook Id and parameters. Job job = new Job(); job.RunbookId = runbookId; job.Parameters = <some string here>;

job.Parameters has type of String.

I tried to run a runbook manually and find out what is in 'parameters' property. The value of 'parameters' is:

<Data> <Parameter> <ID>guid</ID> <Name>parameter name</Name> <Value>parameter value</Value> </Parameter> <Parameter> <ID>guid</ID> <Name>parameter name</Name> <Value>parameter value</Value> </Parameter> </Data>

but if i put the value as 'Parameters' property for new run, i get error "Invalid Job creation params"

Hi,

This is a known issue.

Update Rollup 1 for System Center 2022 Orchestrator

Known limitations

Starting a job on Web Console with more than one input parameter won't work because of incorrect API invocation by the Web Console.
