Hello everyone. The hdd led blinking constantly, allmost like a "morse code". I use an AM4 platform with an ssd NVMe mounted in the PCIe dedicated slot. The system is new, 8 days fresh installed windows 10, upgrade it to windows 11. I'm wondering if that's the way should be in this case(NVMe ssd), or is abnormal. On the motherboard are connected two sata dvd writers, and one PCIe x1 sound card, no other hdd. I try to find an answer on the internet but the majority are spoken about damage hdd's or viruses, the hdd monitoring program show 100% health, the antivirus and antimalware programs didn't find something wrong. The same installation, OS windows 10 and identical programs, is on other pc, FM2 platform where i use a 2'5" sata ssd, and there things are normal, no constant blinking of hdd led. All i want to know is if the NVMe ssd's are a different behaviour than hdd's, and i will try after to re-install the OS, to check if the same installation, windows and the other programs, will do the same into a hdd, or with a different OS on this platform, to check if is one of the componnents. Thank you in advance.

I'm not talking aboud the SSD NVMe led ( the ssd doesn't have his own led ), i'm ttalking about the case led that is connected on the motherboard JFP1, the front panel connector ( power led, hdd led, power switch, reset switch ), the led who indicates the hdd presence and activity. And something else strange, from yesterday until today, is that in the Hard Disk Sentinel, it shows 15 GB more writes, without no writed files/installed programs, just internet browsing!
