So, i am trying to connect to Azure database managed instance from my SSIS package that resides on visual studio 2012. I am able to connect to managed instance from management studio and when i try using OLEDB connection in package the connection test succeeds successfully (i am using username and password using sql authentication) to connect under OLEDB. Also, package executes successfully in VS2012 but when scheduled as a job it fails

Are the two executions (test and schedule) happening from same/similar environment? Scheduled test might not have network connectivity to SQL MI (check access to MI VNet, and VNet/Subnet NSG configuration)?

Executing SSIS on my local from Visual studio 2012 which completes successfully but scheduling it as a job on another server that has 2012 version where it fails with error in previous posted message.
Raised request for firewall to be opened between SQL MI & 2012 server.
