Subfolder access in SharePoint

Hello,

I use a Sharepoint library in which there are about ten folders, which all have different access rights. One of these folders is called "Folder A". Folder A contains several files and several subfolders. One of these subfolders is called “Folder B”. In Folder A , I would like 3 users to access all the files and subfolders. Still in Folder A I would like 1 user (called "User A") to only access Folder B and nothing else in Folder A.
I can give access rights to Folder B to user A but the problem is access to Folder A: either I give access to Folder A to User A, but he will have access to all the contents of Folder A, or I don't give him access and he won't be able to access Folder B by browsing from the root of the library.
In a Windows server, it is possible to give rights to "this folder only" to manage this kind of case but I don't see how to do it in SharePoint.
Has anyone ever faced this problem?
Thanks in advance.

    @Jean-Pierre Liégeois

    Here are steps:

    1.Click the folder A- > Manage access-> Click Advanced.

    2.Grant read permission level for user A.

    3.For all subfolders and files except for subfolder B you want to restrict access for user A -> Manage access-> Click Advanced.

    4.Click Stop Inheriting Permissions -> remove read permission for user A.

    5.Result: subfolder B inherits the read permission of folder A and other subfolders and files under folder A will not be displayed to user A.

    Hi,

    If you'll give access rights directly on Folder B, SharePoint would give "limited access" rights to the user on parent folder, library and web however this would only allow them to access the folder using direct URL.

    One option which you can try is to create a view which displays items without folder, this is not an optimal solution but will allow users to view documents.

    Other option (not recommended) could be to create a custom web part but it may require too much customization depending upon features you would like to include.

    Hope this helps.

    Best regards
