Outlook Inbox view changed on its own and I can't change it back

Question

Yesterday in the middle of a meeting, the panel of my outlook which usually shows a compact list of all my messages with information like sender, subject and the first line of the email changed suddenly without my input. It makes it impossible to comprehend anything that is being shown in that panel, but it has only affected my inbox. If I go to my sent mail, the view looks correct. How do I change it back?

Fixed on my own - keeping up for others' reference. This is what I did:

View -> Current View -> View Settings. The following will pop up:

Click the button that says "Other Settings..." This will pop up:

I have circled the area which was an issue - the bubble for "Always use single-line layout" was selected and I fixed it by changing that to "Always use compact layout"

As a supplement, when we find that the view is not normal, we can also try to "Reset View" to restore the default view.
