Hi all,
I have the txt file with a DNS static A records like below:
name1
name2
name3
----
I want to delete those static A records in the txt file if a ping fails. Windows 2012 R2 DNS servers
Can anyone help me with the script?

What about AAAA records (IPv6), PTR records, CNAME records, etc.? What do you want to do if there are multiple A (or PTR) records for the name?

2022-07-12T19:12:22.077+00:00 How many forward lookup zones are there in your DNS? Are they all in the "DNS Suffix Search List" on the machine you'll use to run the script?
Are all your machines on the same network? NetBIOS name resolution may not work if there are multiple networks unless your DNS also uses WINS to resolve names.
