Retrieve data from expired subscription

Hi,
My VM recently expired and I would like to know if its possible to retrieve some data (1 file in particular) when the VM will not start.

    I believe the only route you have is to either enable the subscription or move the VM to a working subscription in order to get it to start.
    Another possible route would be to download the drive image and mount locally, however I don’t think it will allow you to do that in a expired subscription, it would have to be a live environment.
