Want to have public facing site hosted in sharepoint 2016. i configured web application, site collection with anonymous access but no luck.

Thanks @YanliJiangMSFT-7045 our team has been looking for documentation on this for more than 2 weeks with no luck. This is really strange where SPO mentions public has been retired but on-prem we can achieve it but documentation on it. Any info on this will help our team a lot.

According to my research, creating a public-facing site in SharePoint 2016 is a complicated thing.
