Azure AD Certificate based authentication for PowerShell unattended access

I see a preview feature called Azure AD Certificate Based Authentication: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/authentication/concept-certificate-based-authentication

Can this be used to enable PowerShell unattended access for script automation between AD and Azure AD?

@RichardBailey-4161 Thank you for reaching out to us.

Let me check/research if we can use Azure AD CBA for PowerShell unattended access and revert back to you.

Apologies for the delayed response. Checked with my team regarding your ask related to Azure AD Certificate based authentication for PowerShell unattended access, unfortunately this is not supported, Headless clients cannot do Certificate based authentication.

Let me know if you have any further questions.
