Excel 365 - Separate instances share the same Calculation mode.

The calculation mode when running 'separate' instances of Excel 365, does not keep 'separate' versions of the Calculation mode i.e. it does not respect the Calc mode the workbook was saved with.

When I open a large Excel workbook with a Calc mode of manual, then open a new instance of Excel 365 and another workbook, it inherits the manual Calc setting of the first workbook. Thus to my mind they are 'not' separate instances. Is there a fix for this?

Thanks
Ken

    Hi, @Ken
All open documents use the same calculation mode, which can be found in this link for details: current-mode-of-calculation .
It seems that there is no way to use different calculation modes in open instances.
