In SharePoint 2016 page, we have a survey form for clients which has two languages (English / French) options, the client can switch language in the page, and same in List Setting. One column “Status” (choice type: not start, in Progress, completed), however, when we switch to French in List Setting, the column changed to French “état”, but the choice item “not start, in Progress, completed” remains as English. If change the choice items “not start, in Progress, completed” to French, then English page’s choice shows as French.
In the French List Setting, “état”s Column name is still “Status”; if changed it to “état”, then English page’s column shows as “état”.
How to separate the two language columns?

    @Leung1975

    I have tested in my end and I cannot reproduce the issue.

    Please go to site settings -> language settings to check whether tick Overwrite Translation.
