Question

Sharepoint Online Linked Service

We are having trouble with the SharePointOnlineList linked service. After may 26th of this year, it stopped working and we are unable to identify the root cause.

We have ensured that the application has access to the sharepoint site by configuring the site app permissions.
We have replaced the secrets.

We even created brand new app to test the service with different sites, but still not luck.

23201
Details
Failed to get metadata of odata service, please check if service url and credential is correct and your application has permission to the resource. Expected status code: 200, actual status code: Unauthorized, response is : .

hello,

That is correct, the error comes from the Data Factory, we created a Linked Service and configured it to connect to our SharePoint ( and already registered the app in Sharepoint Site app permissions)

As a side note, we registered and granted permission in Sharepoint to an app using Postman for testing and we are able to retrieve the list information. This is failing specifically when using the Linked Service.

thanks for the response. I have already followed the instructions in the link, added the corresponding rigths in SharePoint and ran command set-spotenant -DisableCustomAppAuthentication $false; however, We are still unabel to connect to it via the connector. We tested with PostMan and connection is succesful
