Intranet at Sharepoint online: Security group membership controls which site that is opened..

Hi,

At my school we or course have students, teachers, management, dormworkers etc. Each of these 'departments' has their own Sharepoint Online site selectable from our main intranet site.

But how can I automatically redirect them to their 'own' site based on their security group membership?

I.e. that when users identified as being members of the Students group open intranet.mydomain.edu they get automatically redirected to the intranet's Students site instead of just displaying the Main intranet site..?

Thanks a lot for help on this.

best regards

    @BTor
    I don’t think it’s possible to automatically redirect to the intranet's students site instead of displaying the main intranet site.

    As a workaround, you could use audience targeting in the navigation to show different navigations to different users.

    1.Enable site navigation audience targeting.

    2.Add link -> Set audience targeting.
