Is there a way to get a device out of the Autopilot setup (ESP) during oobe, when its stuck?

Also, i am curious if a similar process needs to be done when disposing devices.

Have you let it just timeout so it fails? Then you can reset (or reimage) the OS and try again. When disposing you should delete it from Intune and delete the Autopilot hash, or look at a script like this https://smsagent.blog/2020/03/17/delete-device-records-in-ad-aad-intune-autopilot-configmgr-with-powershell/

For some reason the one i am working with is stuck and won't ever error out. its stuck on the apps section and just says "working on it" and stays that way forever. i tried deleting the device out of intune and autopilot, in hopes that that would disable the ESP, but it didn't, so i ended up just reloading the OS. i wasn't sure if there was a better way when you get into a situation like that. (keep in mind that i am new to autopilot so i don't know what i am doing yet haha).
