Windows Server 2019 Core - RDS Connection broker

Question

Hi,

Im trying to install the RDS Connection broker role, onto an Windows Server 2019 core, but the installation fails.
According to the documentation, the license and broker roles, should be available in the core version of Windows 2019.

But it seems, that the service is not even available for installation, or am i missing something?

Hi,

After researching, we found below article describes that remote desktop connection broker and remote desktop virtualization host will no longer be available on server core installations.

Hi Kristian,

You'll need to add the core server to the server manager from a server with the GUI and then add the roles. That should help you get the collection configured properly.
