Project Standard 2021 VL installer not working error code 0-2054 (0)

Question

We have a volume license of Microsoft Project Standard 2021 (stand-alone or perpetual license), when installation start from a link it does open and extract the setup and configuration file but after running the setup it just say the error code 0-2054 (0).

I do not have a proxy, not a strict firewall. I can download and install office 365 normally.

Any way to download and install Project as Offline Installer?

Also don't refer me to this link https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/install-project-7059249b-d9fe-4d61-ab96-5c5bf435f281 this does not help at all. If i login my account all i can see is my subscription.

Did the Office 365 install in the same computer?
What the detail version of Office 365 you're using?
How did you install the Project Standard 2021 VL?

1. If you have another computer without Office 365, try to check if you can install the Project 2021 successfully.
2. If you have installed Office 365 in the same computer, make sure all products installed on the computer must be using the same update channel.
   Volume licensed versions of Project 2021 can also use other update channels, such as Current Channel, Monthly Enterprise Channel, or Semi-Annual Enterprise Channel. You should check the update channel of Office 365 you're using and config the same update channel for Project Standard 2021 VL.

after trying so many times, i finally fixed my problem. the download file does come with 4 xml file.

i use this configuration instead.

  <Add OfficeClientEdition="64">  
    <Product ID="ProjectStd2021Volume" PIDKEY="XXX"  

Initially i download it , and it installed ok. my only problem now is when the license is not working, i enter it manually the application accept it but nothing.

Hi, i resolved this, im not using MAK as far as i know. i restarted my pc twice and waited some time before entering the license again. it works.
