Rollout seems not to follow waves in the 365 Apps Admin Center

Hi!

I am deploying O365 on Monthly Enterprise using the 0365 Apps Admin center. I have under settings in the Servicing Profile added three security groups (Test, Pilot, Production) for selection of user scope. I have turned on the Waves functionality, and added the same security groups Test, Pilot, and Production in that order with a five days intervall between each wave. The users in the first wave are receiving their updates, as expected almost imediately. BUT what i am also experiencing is that some users in the third wave, Production is also getting the latest updates. According to the waves schedule this shouldnt happen before at least a few weeks. Why are some of my users in the third wave getting these updates already? Can it be related to when the waves was initially configured, and the release cycle?

EDIT: I just checked again, and now it seems i am getting updates in all of the waves. In other words, it doesnt seem like the deployment is using the waves at all.

Any help is appreciated

    Hi @brandsen

This issue is related to Microsoft 365 Admin Center, which is not supported on Q&A forum at current time~
The tag "office-deployment" focuses more on general issues of Office deployment via running ODT and .xml file and Office group polices.
    Thanks for your understandings.

I find that you have posted a same thread on Microsoft Tech Community --- Admin Center, I suggest you wait and see if there are experts to give suggestions.
Besides, it seems that you set up the servicing profile with the “by Azure AD group” approach, I personally suggest you check the Azure AD groups that you created and selected for different criterias.
