Retrieving Sharepoint like & comment statistics for Power BI reporting

Hi,

I recently got an assignment to retrieve data from our Sharepoint Intraweb in order to make Power Bi visualizations to display most liked news and pages. I was told that such data should be available through the Sharepoint usage analytics. However, after looking at what the API returns, I do not think that is the case.

Some level of analytics should be available through the browser for individual pages if you navigate to the page settings and click "page usage". However, this page is completely blank for me (Any clue what might be the reason?). However, I would need to get a list of all pages and news to rank them and display visually. Is this info available somehow through an API and what settings/permissions it requires?

Sidenote: I am currently set as site owner.

Thanks
