The simplest solution may be to uninstall the older versions before installing Visual Studio 2019.

    Hi zleug,

Could you tell me the previous version of Visual Studio you have installed?
If the previous version belongs to Visual Studio 2019 such as 16.7.2, you can update it to the latest version via Visual Studio Installer and the latest version will replace your current installed version.

If the previous version is Visual Studio 2017 or Visual Studio 2015, you need to uninstall the previous version and install the Visual Studio 2019.
It needs to point that VS2015, VS2017 and VS2019 can be installed side-by-side on your PC.

    Best regards,
    Anna
