I have a Windows 10 desktop, and after the update (https://support.microsoft.com/help/5014699) I don't have internet if I turn on the hotspot, but I have it instantly if I turn off the hotspot.

Can you tell me please why is this and how can I fix it?

    Hello,

Try to perform Network Reset and then re-enable Mobile hotspot:

    1. Open Settings app, click Network & Internet > Status > Network reset link.
    2. Now click on Reset button on next screen.
    3. In confirmation prompt appearing next, click Yes.

Let us know if this helps!

    Hi Kalvintamas,
this is a known issue reported by many users and is caused by the latest Windows updates dated 06/14/2022. Microsoft is aware of the problem and has already released a new cumulative update on 06/28/2022 (KB5014666 for Windows 10 and KB5014668 for Windows 11) which appears to have solved the problem. Go to Windows Update, check if the update for your operating system is available, then install it.
