I deleted a file by mistake but is not showing up in recycling bin

Question

I deleted a file by mistake but is not showing up in recycling bin, and has been over an hour.... Seems to be in some kind of abyss - I have downloaded the latest version of one drive, but nothing... network download and upload speeds are set to no limit.

Visit https://onedrive.live.com/ > Go to Recycle bin > Click on the files you want to restore > Press Restore all items

Hello, thank you but the item is not in the recycle bin, hence the problem.

Hi @bloom ,

1.If you delete a file in SharePoint and it is not displayed in the site Recycle Bin, you could go to the Site Collection (Second-Stage) Recycle Bin to check whether it exists, which requires site collection administrator privileges.

2.If you are using OneDrive for Business, you also need to try going to the second stage recycle bin to check if it is there. Navigate to first stage Recycle bin, below the bottom, click the Second-stage recycle bin.

If you still don't find the file, you may be able to restore OneDrive to a previous time.

I got added as an owner and could see deleted items in sharepoint recycle bin... thank you
