Hi @MS
how MS records the user action associated with extending or removing the auto expiration date on Teams Meeting Recording
When videos expire, Microsoft notifies video owners via email. For a limited time, you can use this email to restore an expired video from the Recycle bin before it's permanently deleted.
how the data/action(meeting recordings) is recorded in the logs (where to check, may be security/compliance or any other option to check the logs)
If we have logs Teams meeting recordings, how we can extract/export the Information?
To support e-Discovery requests for compliance admins who are interested in meeting or call recordings, the recording completed message is available in the compliance content search functionality for Microsoft Teams. Compliance admins can look for the keyword "recording" in the subject line of the item in compliance content search preview and discover meeting and call recordings in the organization.
we have a meeting never expire policy, how many days will the meeting recording stay in SharePoint/OneDrive when user is disabled/ removed from the AD
All newly created Teams meeting recordings (TMRs) will have a default expiration of 120 days. This is on by default for all tenants. If you set meetings to never auto-expire. The OneDrive and SharePoint system will monitor the expiration date set on all TMRs and will automatically move TMRs to the recycle bin on their expiration date.
