Hi All
i have couple of windows 10 VMs hosted in azure where user profiles are getting corrupted. i suspect it could be due to application. This is not happening on other VMS as this application is not installed on those. I would like to know how can an application corrupt user profiles. i understand it depends from application to application but i would like to know what could be possible reasons for application causing profile corruption. When i say application team to check from application side they blindly say its OS issue. Experts guide me.

You should look at the Event viewer also.
There may be many factors behind a corrupted user profile:
1) Power outage
2) Power outage during a Windows update
3) Power outage during a Windows upgrade
4) Manual power offs for hangs and freezes
etc.
