RDP for IOS Space Bar not working on Ipad Pro

When using the IOS app for RDP on IPad Pro 2020, the space bar key does not work. If I use Option-Space Bar, I can get one space - but this is not a practical solution. (The space bar does seem to trigger some kind of field-switching, but produces no “space”. Space bar is working in other RDP apps, just not Microsoft’s.

The IOS RDP works fine on my older iPad. I have seen this comment on other forums. I have not seen it acknowledged or being worked on. Please advise.

    Solved:

Settings >Accessibility > Keyboards > full Keyboard Access > commands
remove “space bar” from the “activate” field.

Developers: pls set this to “OFF” to not annoy us all!
