Windows Time on Windows 10 IoT - Make Internet time based on a scheduled basis

Hi,

sorry if this question will be not so clear, but I am trying to be focused on the need:

I have a Windows Time on Windows 10 IOT that randomly goes back of a few hours or forward of a few hours.

I would like to make Synchronization with Internet time, set on

"This computer is set to automatically synchronize on a scheduled basis."

instead of having - almost - continuous synchronization.

How can I obtain this? The windows time in services.msc is set to "Manual - Start trigger" and it is currently running.

Can you share some details so the readers have a better insight in what is happening?

Which OS are you using? Is this Windows 10 IoT Core? Could hardware be part of the seen behavior? Which timezone is used?

Hi,

Windows 10 IoT enterprise build 17763.

Keeping machine always on, without shutting down, after a few hours I saw time that remains late about 2 hours.

The time is syncrhonized on time.windows (Internet synchrhonization) and the Windowstime service is always running.

I have not encountered this behavior on Windows10 IoT Enterprise 1809.

I normally deploy in CET time zone. Which time zone are you referencing?
