On Friday 9/11/20 my PC installed Windows 10 Version 2004 OS Build 19041.508. In doing so when my computer restarted all my documents and software were gone.
Any suggestions on how to recover?

As we are mainly responsible for general issue of Microsoft Teams. This question is more related to Windows. I would remove the office-teams-windows-itpro tag and add the windows-10-general tag. Hope you get better response.

Clean install or in-place upgrade?
Just go to C partition root directory, check whether there are a folder called Windows.old, if you can see it, your data and files are reserved.Also check if you are using temporary profile to login.
