We are having issue with Phone Mobile number in teams contact card

Hello

Please i need your help on this.

We have recently removed mobile number for a subset of our users. The contact card in azure ad and SharePoint has reflected these changes.

However, contact card in teams is not updated with the blank value on the mobile field for these users. The applicable users is synchronized from active directory.

how can we blank out these values in teams contact card so it matches mobile field in azure ad ?

    Hi @IBN

    Here is a link about this issue: User information isn't updated in Microsoft Teams
    It is by design that the Teams server and client would cache the information for some time.

    Have you also checked the phone number in Microsoft 365 admin center?
    If it is not blank, please modify it and wait for some time for Teams to update the information.
    Then see if it can help with this issue.
