I have an issue which I reported some months back, I don't know if anyone has experienced this, I am posting this here because the issues seems to be taking for ever to be resolved, why am i billed on forecust cost not actual cost ... ? Scenario : for this moth my forecust may be 300usd at month end actually resource that I used would be maybe 100us on Azure, why am I billed 300usd ? And the invoice gets sent in the middle of the month

Maybe there is something I don't understand

@SandsL Sorry for the inconvenience caused!

I understand your concern bout being billed per Forecast cost not Actual cost.
FYI: We don't bill the customer on Forecast. And Actual cost is an estimate of the billed amount. Therefore you can expect to be billed per your usage only.

    Please check this: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/cost-management-billing/costs/cost-analysis-common-uses#review-invoiced-charges-in-cost-analysis

If the usage report and Invoice does not match with the Actual Cost shown on the above, it still needs investigation and a support case. If you've already raised support request, please share the case ID for us to check the status internally and help you further.

    Create an Azure support request

All Azure customers have access to billing and subscription management support. Technical support is available to customers with a support plan.
