Hello,

I'm using Mac to macOS Monterey 12.5, and Microsoft Remote Desktop 10.7.7 to access windows servers.
After I updated macOS I'm having trouble at typing at Hyper-V console.

Windows host recognizes my keyboard/keymap which is Japanese, but on Hyper-V virtual machine console,
keyboard is not recognized correctly. If I type "s" key, then backslash "\" appears on console, "3" key goes "," and so on.
When I access to Hyper-V host using Windows10, such problem is not happening so I guess there are something
wrong at Remote Desktop app.

Is there any way to solve this problem?

Thank you for your help in advance.

Uninstall Microsoft Remote Desktop 10.7.7 and download and install Microsoft Remote Desktop from here

    Hi Divisionbox,
I'm also on a mac, and I've frequently had compatibility issues like this (although it's my son who speaks/writes Japanese, not me).
I would suggest running Parallels on your mac. That should solve most/all windows compatibility issues.

    Hello DavidBroggy and SSengupta,

I gave shot re-installing app, then weird behaviors are gone and works clean now :)

And also I considered buying Parallels according to David's suggestion,
    if re-installing does not help.

Thank you for both of you, wanted to give "accept" DavidBroggy too but
system allow me just one accept.
