DFS with span disk - Recommendations

Question

We have DFS namespace with replication to 2 VMs, Maximum volume size is restricted to 5TB and we can't split the files to multiple volumes due to some restrictions.
What is best approach to use single partition/vol with existing Data (can't make a new setup).
Span disk is good idea in Production?
is there any other way?

Hello

Thank you for your question and reaching out. I can understand you are having query related to DFS.

There shouldn't be. DFSR has no knowledge of the underlying disk structures.
The volumes just need to be NTFS.

Also , please make sure you have good backup in case volume become down.
