Dear all,
we are preparing an update of our app on the Microsoft partner Center portal.
After uploading the new “.appxupload” package, in addition to the capabilities we defined in the app manifest, we also find the following capability: "Microsoft.storeFilter.core.notSupported_8wekyb3d8bbwe"
We tried to execute again the app build, also verifying the app manifest, but we still obtain such extra capability that seems to be added after the upload of “.appxupload” package.
We also tried to search in the Web for it, but we didn’t get any clarification.
Can you please provide us clarifications about such extra capability?
Can be an issue during review phase for the app we have to release?

It seems that the capability is added by the store when compiled online after you uploaded the package. Do you have issue when your app passes the certification? If not, you could ignore this.
Why this capability is automatically added by the store? Also, What's the use this capability? It's unclear to me.

Creating a Non-Technical Support request ended in a unhelpful response.
I opened a Technical Support case and when I'll get a proper response I'll come back here to update this thread.

The ticket has been closed by the support saying that not being a technical ticket they cannot give support (???).
I opened a new ticket as indicated by them (in the same way as the previous one but who knows..), let's hope in something better this time ..
I was able to reach the Microsoft Technical Support. They said that "Microsoft.storeFilter.core.notSupported_8wekyb3d8bbwe" capability is automatically added to packages which do not support Windows 10 Core (Windows IoT Core).
This capability won't impact app functionalities.
