Unable to Turn Off IEEE 802.1x Ethernet Authentication - Windows 11/Intune?

I have a Surface Laptop 4 w/ Windows 11 (all latest updates installed) that is connected to Intune. For some reason I am unable to turn of IEEE 802.1x Ethernet Authentication. It seems like when this is enabled, my ethernet (connected to Surface Dock 1) intermediately disconnects in our office. I am able to turn it off, but it turns right back on within an hour or so. Is Intune turning on IEEE 802.1X authentication? I can't seem to find any setting in Intune to disable it.

@HidingTacoTurner Thanks for posting in our Q&A.

Based on my research, I only find a setting "802.1x" in wired network profile. When set to "Do not enforce", the Wired AutoConfig service doesn't require using 802.1X for port authentication.
