Teams centric app assignments

Hello

Please i need your help on this.

I have a question regarding the assigning of applications to a Team. We are about to start using Microsoft Shifts which I have delegated using App Permission and App Setup Policies.

For the users assigned the new policies, they see a “Shifts” icon in the launch bar on the left-hand side of the Teams client and can launch the application. Owners of the Teams are permitted administrative rights, and members of the Team, the correct “user” permissions.

No issue up until this point.

The question I have is how do I stop Team Owners from creating “Shift Schedules” in every Team they are an Owner of?

I only want a Shift Schedule to be created in specific teams by the Team Owners and not allow them to create Shift Schedules where they like. Is there a way that App permissions and be Teams Centric i.e. so that the Shifts app is only allowed for nominated Teams and not user centric, hence across all Teams the user is an owner of?

Also, is there any progress on the deletion of Microsoft Shifts from a Team? This would at least help the situation by allowing an Administrator to clean up after a Team Owner has created a Shift in a Team where they were not meant to?.

Hi @IBN

Currently it is not possible to apply app setup policy only to a specific Team.
When you assign the policy to a Team or group, it would apply to the members in the group.

Here is a Teams uservoice thread has the similar requirement: Allow use of custom apps only within specific teams
