Shared Project template missing in VS 2022 for Mac

In Visual Studio 2022 for Mac, Shared Project is missing from the list of project templates (Multiplatform -> Library). See attached screen shot. Shared Project was available in Visual Studio 2019 for Mac.
Is this a bug, or are Shared Projects no longer supported in VS 2022 for Mac?
If no longer supported, what's the recommended approach for sharing/importing many files across projects without creating a separate assembly?
