I was having problems with MS Authentication today, with it crashing every-time i opened it. so i leaved beta, and uninstalled, i had a backup made to the cloud recently. but when i reinstalled, i had to sign into my main MS account, and all it has done is re synced my passwords, which are kinda useless with the accounts that have the 2FA codes, so i can't sign into any of my apps or any that really matter, and i can not find the back up on the cloud, is it suppose to be backed up to MS Onedrive, or Google drive, This is on android by the way.

And reinstalling it has gotten rid of the crashing, but now i got a bigger problem. i have tried everything. anyone that knows about this situation and how to resolve it please write back, I'm begging you. i have been trying for hours, and MS is of no use.
I run a non profit for students cloud computing project.

teaching students the future of tech, and business, and how to work in the cloud, and get free resources, and free certification for being students, but i need my MS authentication app back to full working order. so please if anyone has any guesses or something that might work. cause I'm out of ideas.

You can restore from backup (assuming there was one) but make sure no accounts have been added to the newly install app. Then sign on with recovery account to do the restore.

You can recover your account credentials from your cloud account, but you must first make sure that the account you're recovering doesn't exist in the Microsoft Authenticator app. For example, if you're recovering your personal Microsoft account, you must make sure you don't have a personal Microsoft account already set up in the authenticator app. This check is important so we can be sure we're not overwriting or erasing an existing account by mistake.
