Unable to re-install Visual Studio 2019

Hello,

The hard drive in which Visual Studio Community 2019 (VSC) was installed suddenly stopped working (It was really old)

So I tried to install VSC in a new hard drive, but the Visual Studio Installer wanted to install the "shared composants" on my old hard drive that doesn't exist anymore. (And I can't change the location)

Also, windows 10 still considers that VSC is installed, which may be why the installer has a problem ?

So how can I solve this problem ?

    Hi redskam,

    For your requirement, you could open your Registry Editor and navigate to the following registry:
    Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\VisualStudio\Setup

    Then, modify the value data of SharedInstallationPath to the new drive (Before editing, we suggest you back-up the data).
