Powerapps: Update a second list in SharePoint when creating a new record on the current list

Hello,

Can you tell me the best way to update a record on a second SharePoint list whilst creating a new record on the new form of the current list? Would this be by modifying the patch function on the "save" button, using a patch function elsewhere or using a flow workflow?

Based on your description, I understand that you want to update an item in one list when a new item created in another list.

You could create a flow as following pictures show.

Thank you Emily. Is there any way to modify the patch function on the SP new form save button also?
